Some have helped my MS quite a bit, that does not  mean that they will help yours. 11-28-10  I have been reading a lot about stem cells being taken from our own adipose tissue (fat) to treat MS and other diseases. Of course I am most interested in MS. This is year 35 for me and this frustrating disease, I personally do not have a lot of faith in the current ABC drugs. I've been also interested reading about electrical stimulation treatment and dietary changes being used by MS patient and MD. Terry Wahls. After listening to her lecture from the above link where she speaks about even though she is now able to walk long distances and ride a bike her MRI's still show her lesions. So I am curious to see if I had this treatment with my own fat cells if those lesions might heal up to some degree. I just feel for myself that there is no way to know unless I am able to try this treatment. I have not started using electrical stimulation as of yet, I'm using steroids at the moment and I don't want to push it too much. I guess only time will tell, that's all I have so I will wait. Below are some other links about fat cells being used to treat MS. The touch football game my brother Brian & friends play in my honor was held this past Friday, so I am hoping the money they are able to raise will send me off to have this treatment started. I am hopeful since the cost in Phoenix is not even $5000. I'm knocking on al the wood I can find! LOL   Never give up! ~ Lisa

08-10-10   My mom just sent me this about a man who is going to have stem cells taken from his hip. Here is this musicians story; http://www.suburbanchicagonews.com/beaconnews/news/2554322,2_1_AU01_DENISE_S1-100801.article Here are two links about the treatment;  http://www.closerlookatstemcells.org//AM/Template.cfm?Section=Home    http://www.regenocyte.com/

05-01-10   Here is a link my friend Lucy sent to me, it is a rebuttal of sorts about the 60 minutes program on the 18th of this month. I can definitely see their point as well. Here is the link if you would like to read it. I do believe stem cells will be a very necessary role for many afflictions including stroke, MS and many other disabilities. Never give up! ~ Lisa

04-21-10   This is not Stem Cell info per se  but I found the information quite interesting. I would imagine if a patient is to see any possible benefits this procedure it would need to be done more than once. When I have the funding for HBOT I would like try it to see if it makes a difference. I still do not feel that even if was able to use cord blood stem cells that it will be a quick fix, that just does not make sense to me. I believe patience is key for any treatment and being realistic on what to expect depending on each individuals condition. I have always been fortunate in that I am still ambulatory albeit with a cane,  so possibly my reaction to the HBOT will be more beneficial for my body. I don't know. Never give up! ~ Lisa

04-20-10   If you did not see 60 minutes on CBS this past Sunday and would like to see it please click below. Please do your research. I did not have stem cell treatment by Frank Morales but was considering it at one time. I opted to try the SF1019 Immunosyn vaccine, which I was fortunate to be able to use for 13 months. I am still looking into stem cell treatment, but will take my time in doing my research. The links I have below from Northwestern Hospital in Chicago are not currently active. I will continue to look into this, I may not be RR and I have had MS for 34 years but would be really interested to see if it can help a patient such as myself, I'm told I am SPMS. I am still ambulatory with a cane but have not balance, I think it would be fascinating! Though I don't believe if I received stem cell treatment  I would be better in a matter of days, to me that just seems illogical  since I have had MS symptoms since I was 13. I feel a lot of patience is needed for any kind of recovery from this disease, recovery cannot be rushed. I personally also believe food plays a role since the Human blood print blood test showed I have an intolerance to 29 foods, blood cannot lie. I would like to try to see if dietary change makes a difference, so far so good.  http://www.cbs.com/primetime/60_minutes/video/?pid=KLlp8TnEMNovKyGDburhrg2KK0524ywc&vs=homepage&play=true

06-19-09  Here is an 8 minute preview about cord blood through Dr. Fernando Ramirez, there are 2 MS examples.

Fascinating! click red link to left

02-27-09  I am not still looking into going to Dr. Morales for cord blood treatment. I do not know for certain if the Stem Enhance will help with my balance, that is not cheap either but I don't need to travel to use this treatment.  However with the Stem Enhance I don't see great data on it working for more advanced cases. I'm still leaning toward cord blood.  Below I have also added a new link for fetal cell stem cell treatment, I received that link from another MS patient who is seriously considering this he also follows the MS Recovery diet. See that stem cell link below.  Cya~ Lisa  www.medra.com

02-11-09/05-02-09  Yesterday (02-10-09) I saw a piece on our local CBS news station that had a young man I think 24 who has RR MS though he was getting worse but at Northwestern Hospital they did a stem cell treatment on him and he is all better at the moment here is a link; http://www.nmh.org/nmh/mediarelations/mediaoutputs.htm This link should work, it should be listed as Stem Cell Transplant Reverses Early-Stage Multiple Sclerosis 01/30/2009  It will be nice when more advanced cases are used...hey I'd volunteer for that as  know many of you would! This link is not all that new I just messed up the link previously. Never give up! ~ Lisa

01-16-09  I am still using the Stem Enhance, but it really shows that I am not in any state to actually run a business when I didn't even realize I did not order enough for myself....  :(   I'm really not into MLM companies, but if my balance gets better I will continue taking it. I don't know if this can be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is the Stem Enhance, or diet, or replacement of the amalgams. After I had the 2 large amalgams replaced on the 6th of January I was and still am able to fall asleep taking less sleep meds. Before 1 mg. of Xanax would do nothing, but it appears to be working pretty good now. It feels good to sleep, I will have 3 more replaced this upcoming Tuesday the 20th. You can be sure I will be paying attention to any further changes in sleep or balance. I'm hopeful, but have seen differences with diet and having the amalgams replaced, it will be interesting when I have the hair analysis repeated in July, that is factual data! Stay tuned ~ Lisa

01-09-09  I did decide to start taking the Stem Enhance later in the day a few days ago. I believe it did give me the same J-H reaction of feeling even more fatigued but I now feel rather energetic, so much so that I am doing laps within the house with my little dog Daisey following me. I am up to 3 laps twice a day and my butt is so sore! I certainly can't prove it but this med might actually be helping. The other supplement I have been taking for about a month is L-dopa. Remember, I'm no brainiac, just a high school graduate, this is not a game of monkey see money do. Of course I am the monkey! :)  I was reading that L-dopa crosses the blood brain barrier and my hope is that if I take the two together that the Stem Enhance will cross the BBB and start repairing the scarring that I have seen on previous MRI's. If this will really happen I have no idea and no way to prove it. Something seems to be happening though, I'm sleeping better with much less medicine. I think that the insomnia is from the amalgam fillings I'm not sure the Stem Enhance has anything to do with it,  I guess only time will tell.  I do not have the energy or want to sell this product, maybe some day. ?? Energy is the biggest thing I lack, heck my 76 year old mother has more energy than I do and her mom turned 100 this past August so it appears I will be around for quite some time! I can't imagine that or at this point want that, I already feel 100. I have not driven in 2 years and will need to renew my license in February 2010, today I can't imagine that that will happen, but I guess we will see, that is still quite a long tine away. Stay tuned. ~ Lisa

01-02-09   I did order some of the StemEnhance® but have yet to take it. It can cause Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction I remember having those when I was using antibiotic therapy. I already had chronic fatigue and my (J-H) reaction was even more fatigue but it did eventually subside, though did not cure the MS obviously. I have some more investigating to do! I am interested to see if this helps. Never give up! ~ Lisa

12-19-08    My friend Connie's mom heard about this product that is supposed to increase the number of stem cells made from the bone marrow, it is called StemEnhance®. Connie is now using it but still has amalgam fillings in some of her lower teeth. I don't know if this stuff really works, but I do remember Dr. Morales (who has nothing to do with this supplement.) would not even consider giving me a stem cell treatment until all of my amalgam fillings had been replaced because the stem cells would go directly to my teeth and not to the other areas of my body that need them. It is only my thinking but if my fillings are not all replaced possibly the same would be true with taking this supplement, that the stem cells might go directly to my teeth and not where they are needed. I do plan on trying this new supplement but not until all of my amalgams are gone which will be on January 6th. I still have always been one to at least try treatments for at least one year, so that is what I will do once that toxic crap has been removed from my mouth. I will also continue to stay with my dietary changes of not eating dairy, gluten and especially sugar. I will always believe that diet does play a key role in this disease. Only time will tell if this new supplement will actually help.

Stay tuned...and have a Wonderful Holiday Season! ~Lisa

11-10-07    I started the SF1019 vaccine treatment for my MS symptoms back in May '07 which is working extremely well!  I plan on using this treatment for quite some time, but since I've have very bad balance since 1984 I may turn to the umbilical cord stem cell treatment (cord blood) at some point.  If I do I will only have them done by Dr. Frank Morales, it is a 3 day treatment and costs $12,000.  I was very impressed with Dr. Morales when he got me started with the SF1019 vaccine, this past May 15th (he spent 90 minutes with me explaining the procedure) he is the only doctor I would have the stem cells done by.  In the meantime I will continue with the vaccine. ~Lisa Quick
