Disclaimer: The information contained on this website is compiled of information on alternative treatments that I have used since my MS symptoms began in 1975. Some have helped my
MS quite a bit, that does not mean that they will help yours. They are mostly anecdotal evidence and you should seek the counsel of your physician before starting any new treatments.
My name is Lisa Quick, I started this website on October 8, 2001. My MS "journey" began when I was 13, I am now 46 (born 1962). Much of this info is already somewhere within my site, but I had a reader suggest I have a little statement right on the front page about where my MS has advanced to and such, so here it is. I am presently considered secondary progressive and would really not like to advance any further than that, that is why I was trying to get started with this SF1019 vaccine. I started the vaccine May 15, 2007. If you like you can read more about that at my Immunosyn/SF1019 link. I also now completely believe that by changing to eating a diet of anti-inflammatory foods only that MS symptoms can improve or be erased depending on how far along you are. I'm 33 years into this so I'm not expecting to recover completely, that seems impossible at the moment but I will never know if I do not try. To me it just seems far too coincidental that the MS patients who have changed their diets accordingly have had a good amount of recovery. The other treatment I was using for 13 months was the Immunosyn Vaccine, the one Alan Osmond also used. I'm learning that since the vaccine has not yet been FDA approved most of the vaccine has been used for the FDA trials and more vaccine is presently being made. These treatments require patience, a patient needs to look for very subtle changes when using the vaccine, those changes will become more apparent as time goes by. That goes for both vaccine and diet. A fellow MS patient asked me if Argyll biotechnologies were the one's who suggested making these dietary changes. No, they did not, that was my thought process. I was thinking that maybe between eliminating inflammatory foods from my diet and adding this "anti-inflammatory vaccine" (my wording) that maybe between the two my MS symptoms might get better a little quicker than through diet alone. I figure only one way to find out, and I'd like to find out! Another personal thing about me is I can tend to be rather sarcastic at times. Since I have been seeing such wonderful results I am now quite partial to the new Bon Jovi song "It's my life". The lyrics fit perfectly! Thanks for stopping by! ~ Lisa Quick
