My future Adipose Stem Cell treatment

Disclaimer: The information contained on this website is compiled of information on alternative treatments that I have used since my MS symptoms began in 1975. Some have helped my

MS quite a bit, that does not  mean that they will help yours. They are mostly anecdotal evidence and you should seek the counsel of your physician before starting any new treatments.

02-14-11   Okay, I'm back to reality. I would love to try this treatment as I know many of my MS buds would like to as well. I won't give up on this treatment for one day in the future when I win PCH (LOL like that's gong to happen.) A girl can dream. I have written to one Chicago hospital to see if they have any plans for trying adipose stem cells, they have used other stem cells, so I figure it can't hurt to ask, I just won't hold my breath. I am having success with Ampyra so far, I am able to move around more smoothly. My mom & son agree with that statement. I still sleep like crap but will be trying out a new electrical stimulation treatment called Alpha-Stim I will be receiving it this week, I am so excited! I will start a new link to keep track from the get go if anyone is interested i what it does for me. I of course would rather have stem cells but that will have to wait. Stay tuned...~ Lisa

12-03-10   This treatment will likely not happen until the Spring, luckily for me my brother Brian & friends play a touch football game in my honor to help raise funds for these types of treatments. I have been doing ALOT of research on the fat cells in our own bodies being used to treat many conditions from heart disease to MS and more. I (luckily)? have much Adipose tissue to spare and won't be rejected since it is my own tissue. I will also keep up with the dietary changes and be adding Electrical stimulation through a TENS unit. One of the reasons I would like to try these type of stem cells is because after listening to a lecture by Dr. Wahls, she stated that even though she strictly changed her diet and endured  painful electrical stimulation the lesions in her brain were still visible. So I am quite curious to see after future MRI's after having the stem cell treatment if the lesions in my brain lessen or disappear. ?  I figure there is only one way to find out. Stay tuned! ~ Lisa
